Attention all vegetarians and vegans, we have a wonderful announcement for you: Sushi is now a healthy option for lunch or dinner. Typically when one thinks of sushi, they expect the traditional Japanese delicacy of cooked rice combined with raw fish. However, there are also vegetarian and vegan sushi alternatives, and they are now available at the Ohio State campus.
Fusian is a new sushi restaurant that has recently opened on campus. It is located at 14 E 11th Avenue and can be spotted from a mile away due to its “It’s like whoa” sign right out front. As a sushi lover, I was not surprised by its incredible taste and many options. However, other “non-sushi lovers” agree as well. According to www.yelp.com, Fusian is worthy of 4.5/5 stars. Reviews listed on yelp are also in support, describing this restaurant as “the Subway or Chipotle of sushi roll places” (Zain K).
Senior at Ohio State, Maneesha Sivalingam, agrees. “I love Fusian mostly because they have a delicious vegetarian friendly option with their tofu as the protein choice and many other veggies that we can have in our roll. I’ve never gotten anything but their tofu seaweed wrap and I never got bored of it,” she said.
